Protected Structures

"An exemplary documented proposal for a protected structure indicating an appropriate level of intervention"
Dublin City Council Planning Conservation Officer in relation to the conversion of a wonderful 19th Century building into an Embassy

"The proposals are a sensitive remodelling of a substantial, 19th century row house and its original building envelope"
Dublin City Council Planning Conservation Officer commenting on proposals to transform the interior of a Victorian pre-63 subdivision.

As Architects accredited in Conservation (Grade III) the office has much experience of dealing with Protected Structures. This includes documents for planning applications as well as the accompanying conservation reports. We enjoy working on old buildings, and working with clients to address the practical issues to ensure that they continue to be viable and attractive for many years to come.
